Hey, sorry for the late answer. What you posted here is literally the only example of a fan patch/mod, and that one has been made recently.
Other than that, there were the Chinese (supposedly) team patches, that added various things (from files left within the game, pretty much like that mod you posted), the final version is still very buggy, and on the whole, I don't think it's really worth it. It's a like a downgrade patch.
Then there was Rana Northwood's patch. The basic idea was to enable the English translation already done by Sonnori themselves (which was still in the game's dialog file, but locked away), correct and finish it (a lot of the dialog was still left untranslated). But Rana's English wasn't very good (and I mean no insult), which led to a lot of confusion.
Enter John (Unnamed Studio), who corrected and filled up Rana's translation, and came up with some nifty tricks to make the game more-or-less playable on modern machines.
I've made a patch (albeit I haven't released it yet) to make the game bilingual (you can choose from the launcher). It's a quick-and-dirty patch but it works. I'll release it sometime with a new English translation

Also, I would recommend discussing the game over on the wikia, this community is pretty much dead.
